The Blessington Greenway

The Blessington Greenway follows the wooded shoreline of the Poulaphouca Reservoir — the Blessington Lakes — linking the town of Blessington with the Palladian splendour of Russborough House. The path weaves through oak woodland, over footbridges and along the waterside with the Wicklow Mountains as a backdrop.

Underfoot the trail is a mix of gravel path and boardwalk, with gentle gradients throughout. Russborough House, at the far end, makes a fine destination with its café, parkland and famous art collection.
