Bray Head rises steeply from the sea at the south end of Bray's Victorian promenade, and this loop combines the famous cliff walk above the Dublin–Wexford railway line with a climb to the concrete cross on the 241m summit.
The cliff path delivers constant sea views towards Dalkey Island and Wicklow Head, while the summit adds a panorama over the Sugar Loaf and the Wicklow Mountains. Paths are well-trodden but steep and stony on the summit section — a deservedly popular half-day close to the DART.
