St. Fechin's Way explores the remarkable valley of Fore in north Westmeath, where St. Fechin founded a monastery in the 7th century. The walk links the extensive ruins of the 13th-century Benedictine Fore Abbey with the sites of the famous 'Seven Wonders of Fore'.

The route follows quiet paths and lanes on the valley floor, suitable for most walkers, with interpretive signs telling the story of the wonders — including the water that flows uphill and the monastery built on a bog.
