This coastal walk links the marina village of Malahide with Portmarnock's famous Velvet Strand, following the shoreline path around the estuary with views to Lambay Island, Ireland's Eye and Howth Head.
The route is flat and surfaced throughout, ideal for families and runners, and both ends are served by public transport. Finish with a swim at the Velvet Strand or coffee in Malahide — or extend along the beach towards Baldoyle for a longer day.
